Before getting buried in logistics, I want to understand what you’re trying to make. We’ll talk through the song, the feeling you’re chasing, references you connect with, and anything that isn’t working yet. From there, we’ll figure out where I can bring the most to the record and establish a direction we’re both excited about.
Production is collaborative. Depending on what the song needs, we might be building from the ground up, developing an existing demo, reshaping an arrangement, recording, experimenting with sounds, or taking an almost-finished track across the finish line. I handle production, sound design, vocal production, mixing, and mastering as part of the process, with the goal of making something that feels distinctly like you rather than forcing your music into a formula.
The goal isn’t to leave you with another unfinished session on your hard drive. We’ll work toward a finished record you’re genuinely excited to put out. Once the song is complete, you’ll receive a release-ready master, and if we’re both excited about what we’ve made, I’d love for one song to become the beginning of an ongoing creative relationship.
Based in Los Angeles, I’ve been producing and engineering music for a decade now. I work mostly with pop, indie, electronic, and R&B artists, especially when there’s room to get a little weird with it.
What I enjoy most is taking the idea an artist has in their head and figuring out how to actually make it work as a record. Sometimes that means building a song from scratch together. Other times it means taking a demo that already has something special and figuring out what’s missing. I’m very hands-on throughout the whole process, from production and arrangement to sound design, recording, vocal production, mixing, and mastering.
My own taste leans toward synths, psychedelic textures, interesting grooves, analog character, and sounds that feel a little unexpected, but I don’t want every artist I work with to sound like me. I’d rather understand what makes your music yours and build around that. References are a starting point, not something I’m trying to copy.
More than anything, I like working with artists who care deeply about what they’re making and want someone they can actually collaborate with. The goal is to make something we’re both excited about, finish it, and get it out into the world.
